You’ve received your quote and have decided to move forward with Zilla Wraps. The first step in the process is to make a deposit on your invoice. Once your deposit is made, your project will become active in our system.
You can make your payment in person or online- directly from the invoice. We accept check, cash and most credit cards. Once the deposit is made, we will assign your project to our design Department.
All our designers are Zilla Wraps’ employees who take pride in their work. We don’t use outside contractors.
Your designer will contact you by the next business day once your project is active, to share contact information and start the design process. You will need to send them any logos or artwork.
The designer might need to photograph and measure your vehicle. This takes about 30 minutes and can be done at the Zilla Wraps shop in North Fort Worth. If you are in Dallas and need a closer location, just let us know-we will work with you.
After asking lots of questions and discussing the design with you, the designer will let you know when to expect the first version of your wrap design. It typically takes about 4-5 business days for the first version.
Images of the design on your vehicle will be emailed to you for review. You can then request any changes you’d like to see. We do not limit you to a certain number of changes for your design.
Once you approve your artwork, your designer will prep the design for print. This takes about 1-2 days.
We will then print your high-resolution artwork on our state of the art large-format printers. The vinyl must rest for about 24 hours before being laminated. This allows the ink to set into the vinyl so it will last longer on your vehicle.
We then laminate all prints with UV protectant laminate. The printing, lamination and cut down process takes about 2-3 days from start to finish.
Once you have approved your design, we will contact you to schedule installation. Our friendly staff will work with you to pick a date that works for your schedule.
We do have after-hours drop off options so you can easily drop off your vehicle when it is most convenient for you. You will get a reminder email one week before your wrap installation date and a text message reminder one day prior.
You should wash your vehicle one day prior to drop off. Be sure not to use any wax or tire dressing as this can interfere with the vinyl adhering to your vehicle.
We will need you to drop off your vehicle the day prior or by 8:30 am the day of your scheduled wrap installation.
Our Master Installers will take great care of your vehicle. We disassemble vehicles before installation so that your wrap can be as seamless as possible. This allows for a much better result and helps your wrap last longer.
Time frame for the actual installation varies from vehicle to vehicle but average time is 2-3 days.
Your wrapped vehicle will be ready for pickup around 4:30 pm on your final scheduled installation date. If we finish it early, we will call you and let you know.
Once your vehicle is ready, we will give you a confirmation call and let you know it’s ready for pickup. Final payment of your invoice balance is due at or before pick up of your wrapped vehicle.
